Castville Solutions, on behalf of our trusted financial and healthcare partners, is recruiting a Credit Officer to oversee credit applications, evaluate client eligibility, and manage loan processing and repayment. This role is crucial in ensuring responsible lending, minimizing risks, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate and process loan applications in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct credit assessments and background checks to determine client eligibility.
• Analyze financial data, credit reports, and repayment capacity of applicants.
• Recommend loan approvals or rejections based on accurate risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of loan disbursements, repayments, and client interactions.
• Monitor active loans to identify late payments, defaults, or credit risks.
• Work closely with clients to provide guidance on repayment terms and credit options.
• Support collections efforts and implement follow-up procedures on overdue accounts.
• Prepare regular reports on credit performance, risk levels, and recovery activities.

Qualifications:

• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Credit Officer or in a related financial role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic financial software.
• Integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability.
