Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare sector, is seeking to hire an Inventory Manager to oversee the efficient management, control, and accuracy of stock levels for medical supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure that inventory operations support the organizationβs goals of quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, reconciliations, and audits.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all inventory transactions using ERP or digital inventory tools.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast needs, identify shortages or excesses, and minimize wastage.
- Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to manage reorder points and stock replenishment.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of medical products in line with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management (healthcare or pharmaceutical sector preferred).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational efficiency.
